"The site still looks great and continues to flourish. It's been about a year since I checked in. A lot has changed in only 12 months. When I last checked in, work was going pretty well. Unfortunately, like many companies, business came to a grinding halt during 2002 and into 2003. I was laid off at the end of February.

Right now, I'm in the middle of a job search, keeping all options open. As expected, the slow economy has made it tough. Nothing as yet but thanks to help from several ex-Bay Staters, I am trying to network my way into a new position. Any help that other Bay State alumni can provide would be appreciated.

Maybe I'll contact Roger Falcione to see if he needs someone to work in the pit crew of his racing business!

"Congratulations John and Kathy, this website was a terrific idea and the quality is great. I really enjoy seeing the list of names grow each time that I log on. It serves as a continuing reminder of the terrific people (yes even you Miguel) that I worked with in my 12 years at BSG.

Right now I'm employed at Navigant Consulting in Burlington MA, working with a variety of Utility clients in areas such as mergers, acquisitions and generation divestitures. I can't emphasize enough how much my BSG work experiences with people like Tom Sherman and Frank Piccinotti have helped me at this job.

Despite a slowing economy, business is still pretty good. This past winter's warm weather made me think a lot of my days at BSG. Every time the temperature hit 60 in February, I expected Tom Sherman to come flying into my office asking me to calculate the hit on earnings.

Bob Hevert was with Navigant as well for a while, but he left the company to go out on his own and Denise Nelson, another BSG alum, was here but left to take job in New York City. Right now, there are 2 other BSG alum at Navigant: Chris Gulick who is moving to our California office in April and Matt Campbell who is still pumping out Powerpoint charts.

Anne and I are doing very well, however, that will end soon. My son Steve will be attending Ithaca College next fall and daughter Katie, a junior in high school, just got her drivers license, spending her free time at the Burlington Mall. Between upcoming tuition and car insurance costs, thank goodness I held on to that NiSource stock to help me meet these financial challenges.

Once again, thanks to John and Kathy for this great site and I plan to visit it as often as possible and watch it grow. I get the feeling it has already had more hits than the old EnergyUSA site."
