"Hello to all.
I have finally found a job after months of being (mostly happily) unemployed. I finished up grad school and got my MBA. Some of my time was spent at my parents' summer house on Cape Cod. I read Jeanine's update and never once have I had the urge to jump out of a plane!!
I'm a Business Systems Analyst for a small healthcare consulting company that is part of the UMass Medical School. So far I am loving it and hope it continues for a long time to come.
I still check in here once in a while to get the latest news so put your updates here. I like seeing where people have gone since Bay State."

"This web site is a great idea.
I spent many great years at BSG and EnergyUSA.
Most recently I worked for Corning - yes, that Corning, and no, they don't make those dishes anymore! I was in the photonics sector of fiber optics as a business systems analyst. The telecomm industry tanked last year - understatement. They closed 1 1/2 plants in Marlboro and Natick and laid off 80% of our workforce. Ouch. So I am looking for work and enjoying my time off.
I get together with all my other unemployed friends and we joined a health club. Then we drink coffee and plan our job search.
Good luck with the web site - it is great to see the people. It seems like a million years ago since we were all there...and then it seems like yesterday. Must be getting old - I sound like my mother!!
Take care and I look forward to seeing what goes up on the web site next!
One last thing. I graduate from Clark with my MBA this May and am really looking forward to no more classes." Brenda
